Week 11 - Notre Who?

The Internet asked to express its utter confusion at Notre Dame being ranked at #8 in the CFP poll.  Notre Dame has never broke the top 10 in its poll, and certainly doesn't understand why it's top 10 still after suffereing its second loss.  I tried to explain the concept of marketability but It isn't buying it.

Other than that, I notice The Internet and the CFP are fairly closely alligned.  The Interent grants ties, at least at this point in the season, because some data is so close, and that is the main difference.  Also, The Internet claims it also strongly considered placing Boise State at 25 but just barely decided against it due to a few tenths difference in Elo.  I think The Interent is just trying to sound smart..

Rivalry Week two weeks from now!  I can already smell it.  If I'm looking ahead, I bet some teams are too, so I expect next week to be a bit crazy.
