Week 6: Not THAT Weird

Sorry for not updating much the past two weeks.

Anyway, I delayed this week's update a few days, because I thought that because ESPN was having a college football ranking show, that the rank was out this week.  I thought it might be fun to compare it to those.  However, that ranking did not come out, ESPN just had a useless special.  The worldwide leader in White Supremacy ruins another day.

Anyway, The Internet's current rankings are pretty normal.  Washington State is a little higher than most polls, but not THAT much higher.  UCF is quite a bit higher, but I've heard other people express that they are currently underanked.

Duke is the team that stands out as the weirdest member of the top 25.  It looks like their early success is still carrying them in The Internet's holistic rankings.  The Internet also wants to point out that based on their Elo, they probably would be out of the top 25, but It's not quite ready to declare they should be removed.  Perhaps The Internet just doesn't have the bias about Duke's general poor performance on the football field.  At least not this season.

Anyway, here are the ranks for posterity's purpose:

Clemson Tigers
Alabama Crimson Tide
Washington State Cougars
Washington Huskies
Georgia Bulldogs
Penn State Nittany Lions
USC Trojans
TCU Horn Frogs
South Florida Bulls
San Diego State Aztecs
Stanford Cardinal
Duke Bluedevils
Miami Huricanes
Wisconsin Badgers
NC State Wolfpack
Ohio State Buckeyes
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
UCF Knights
Texas Tech Red Raiders
Auburn Tigers
Virgina Tech
Michigan Wolverines
Kentucky Wildcats
Florida Gators
Maryland Terripans
South Carolina Gamecocks
